Peace, Love, and Design

Since relocating to Duluth, MN, we’ve had some amazing opportunities to network and produce some beautiful new content. We’ve been working with the Hungry Hippies on new menu designs, poster artwork for their Taco Tuesday events, copy, and photo and video content as well. For the new menu design, the team at Hungry Hippie wanted to introduce some new specialty tacos into the mix, but didn’t really have names for them yet. I had some fun and sketched out a bunch of new name ideas based on ingredients and the whole peace, love, hippie vibe. I wasn’t sure if any of these names would win over the hearts of the client, but I loved them, so I presented them. The list included The Grateful Pig, Idaho Love, The Space Rancher, and Blueberry Fields Forever. They absolutely loved them. We wrote all of the copy for the new website, and knocked out some new blog posts as well.

One of the new tacos at Hungry Hippie Tacos that we named Blueberry Fields Forever. We had a fantastic photo shoot and got some great new images for the site and social media.

The brand new menu that we designed for Hungry Hippie Tacos. Their menus vary slightly between their two locations in Duluth and Grand Marais, so we designed two slightly different menus for them. We utilized their brand colors to stay consistent and infused some of their fun personality into the design. They were big fans of the beautiful simplicity of the design, the font selection, and the overall vibe of the new menu design.

Here are some screenshots from their new website that we revamped from the ground up. We also produced some new portraits for the team.

This was a really fun project to work on because we got to infuse so many cool elements into their brand and help establish a new voice and personality as they begin to grow and further establish their brand.
