Hungry Hippy

Written by Brad Iwen

Jeremy and Kate created a wonderful brand called Hungry Hippy near Grand Marais, Minnesota. One part hostel, one part delicious eatery, both sides compliment each other beautifully. I met the co-owner of Hungry Hippy while working on my long-term documentary project, Midwest Food Stories. Here is the film I created featuring The Fisherman’s Daughter in Grand Marais.

For Hungry Hippy, we created a Brand Film that tells the story of their business, and then we also created some shorter edits that tell the story of each side of the business. We provided the client with different size videos for utilization across different social channels. The hostel is open year round, so the owners wanted to showcase the winter vibe for these videos. A proper winter storm rolled in while we were working on these, but a great time was had by all. We love working with brands like this that have amazing stories to tell.

We LOVE working with great food brands. If you want to check out more Midwest Food Stories, please click here to watch some films about super talented people doing amazing food things in the midwest.
